Craig's character, Father Paulo, was a monk who'd traveled across the world in search of truth. He'd ended up on this desolate island by accident, pretty much, and ended up stuck there. Paulo was eventually converted to the Archbishop's heresy. Here, Paulo speaks of his joy that the relic (a bone of Christ) has been brought to the island. He is certain that it will lead to an increase in devotion to the Church. He couldn't be more wrong...
