Danny's character, Father William, was the Abbot. As the Drama proceeded, he became more and more suspicious of Archbishop Bizmuth and eventually kick-started the final sequence of the story when he assembled all those who Bizmuth had not "corrupted". He relied a lot on his (very worldly) deputy, Prior Walter. Here, he is saying the final prayers at the dedication ceremony. Harmony played the Mother Superior of the Convent, who was very swiftly converted.
